New LOCATION Coming Soon!!!!

September 17, 2012

Lot’s of exciting stuff happening with Tame The Beast Aromas! I am opening a little boutique in Port Gamble, WA! It is the cutest little building ever! It was the Scale Shack for the logging industry back in the day. People would be in the shack to let the loggers know the value of the wood that they brought to them. I will have my usual, ever expanding line of homemade aromatherapy products for people and pets, offer free aromatherapy consultations, have Nature’s Sunshine vitamins, minerals and products, aromatherapy jewelry, books, Angel Oracle Cards and more!  Yes, I will be offering these goodies online as well.

Over the past couple of weekends we have been in Poulsbo, WA for the Americana Fest and on Bainbridge Island for The Taste of Lynwood. Both events were a blast and we enjoyed meeting lots of wonderful people. Our next big event will be from our new location in Port Gamble on the last weekend of September there will be Old Mill Days with carnival rides, logging competitions, music, a car show and more. Come say hi!

I am donating gift baskets to two wonderful causes. The Kitsap Humane Society is having their annual Animal Krackers Auction on Sept 29 in Silverdale, WA and in October the Kathleen Sutton Foundation is having their annual Breast Cancer Auction in Port Gamble. Both should be very fun events! The Kathleen Sutton Foundation helps people with breast cancer with rides to and from their treatments. I lost my dearest friend, soul sister and one of the most amazing people ever to breast cancer several years ago. I am happy to be able to give to such wonderful organizations.

Spiders seem to be a big problem around here. Yuck! I made a special blend of Lemongrass and Citronella in water and have covered the new location and our home to keep them from making webs everywhere. It appears to be working! Yeah! You can easily make a blend to keep them from spinning webs in unwanted places. Spiders smell with their feet and don’t like citrus so if you spray the locations they like to set up with something citrus they will find another place! I am happy to make something for you, but I am sure you can have fun creating your own blend. I think lemon juice and water should do the trick too.

Come see us in Port Gamble! We will be open Thursday – Sunday  10-5 and by appointment on other days. Chasing Mona is playing in the park this Thursday evening for FREE! Bring the family and have dinner outdoors! It will be a fun evening for all!

Love and Light!
